High quality and it does what it says!

I have 3B-3C curls, my hair is long and has low porosity, and I only wash it every 3-4 days. I bought the 4-step kit and decided to wait until I finished the set to give it a good try until I made a review. For the past 20+ years I have tried most products for curly hair, and my hair does well with all of them, but I have always had to use 4-5 different products to achieve the style I want. Previously, I started with a leave-in conditioner, then a smoothing serum, them a curling cream/styling cream, then a gel or mousse. Sometimes I would use a shining spray for the frizzies as well. When I saw OCOA and the 4-step kit, I was very skeptical that I would only need the styling cream and gel to style my hair. In addition, I figured that the shampoo and conditioner wouldn't last long either. I was wrong! I received my second 4-step order 2 days ago, and I just ran out of the conditioner and styling cream today. I still have some shampoo, at least 4-5 more washes so I was really surprised. The products are very high quality as well, I don't need much shampoo, and my hair feels cleaner than other shampoos that I have used in the past. The conditioner works well and leaves my hair soft and easy to brush and style. I love how I don't need to use a lot of different products and I love how I don't need to use a lot of the OCOA products, so they last longer. It did take some getting used to at first because I used too much styling cream and gel the first time, the second time I didn't use enough of both. After about the 5th time I styled my hair, I knew how much to use and which sections of my hair I need more and sections where I need less. My curls look great, and they look even better 3 or 4 days after I wash it. It took time to get it right, but I could tell from the first wash and style that OCOA products were different, and I was willing to keep trying until I got the results I wanted. Sorry for the long review, I just felt that I needed to explain everything well because curly hair can be hard to manage and style and I am so happy that OCOA got it right! Don't hesitate to try it if you are skeptical, you'll love it! I wish OCOA had trial sizes or travel sizes so that I can try the refresh & hold spray, I haven't tried it yet because I am not sure if it will make my hair too stiff or hard, but I would like to try it. Tried samples & purchased full size!

The long time shampoo I was using was recently discontinued & I have finally found a great replacement along with a good conditioner! I have a dry scalp & Ocoa’s shampoo has helped my scalp feel moisturized & stay hydrated. I also really like the conditioner, it is rich & helps with tangles so I don’t use much leave in after I shower.
The curl cream is a bit heavy for my hair, so I recommend you use a little bit if your hair doesn’t need much product. The gel is also great & after pairing it with the curl cream my hair still feels lightweight. Overall, I am really enjoying these products!!
