I’m ALL in for supporting small businesses, especially Latina owned. However, it’s been years since I’ve had dandruff. To give you some insight on my curly hair journey, I have long 3c/3b hair type. Natural oils, curl cream, and leave-ins are my besties. For years I’ve searched for the right products that’ll define, rejuvenate, hydrate, and moisturize my curls and well I came across this brand and instantly fell in love with the history, background, and the story behind the brand - basically I hit that ‘buy now’ button immediately!
I enjoyed the smell but after a few uses of the curl cream + defining gel, I’ve noticed my hair felt extremely brittle, scalp was insanely dry and beyond noticeable. I want to love the products, but the ingredients are just not it.

Honestly I’ve been trying to find a new curly hair brand as a Dominican and this one really worked in my curls! I need every Dominican and non Dominican to be on these products cause my hair loved it so much! The whole trio did wonder on my curls just look at my results!

I really wanted to love these products. I am intrigued by the ingredients, and I love the story, but they aren't the right products for my hair. The gel doesn't have enough hold, and my frizz, although it isn't terrible, is more than I want.
Finally a product that makes my curls stand out without making my hair feel sticky and stiff. My hair feels very soft and I don’t need to worry about frizz. Highly recommend this product.
Leaves my hair soft. There is no perfume on these products. It leaves your hair looking healthy. Love my curls!

Our products are lightly scented with a 100% natural essential oil blend. The fragrance comes from a mix of grapefruit, sweet orange, and sour lemon essential oils, which give it a refreshing, citrusy aroma that feels clean and uplifting.
Since we keep everything natural, the scent can feel different from products made with artificial fragrances — but that’s part of what makes OCOA so gentle and curl-friendly.
Love this product. And absolutely love that you had sample packets to try. First and foremost, I am over buying a full size bottle only to see it didn’t work. The fact I was able to try the shampoo, conditioner, curl cream and gel was simply amazing. I fell in love and now I am a subscriber. This is the real deal for curls. Truly love this product. Finally, a styling cream that doesn't leave my fine hair/curls stringy or crunchy. I live in a hot and humid area and have been so pleased with the results. I started with a sample pack about a year ago and came back for more. Continued success!
I’ve been trying different products for my dry curly hair, and this one leaves my curls soft and not sticky or crunchy like the other products I’ve used.
Overall I’m satisfied, my curls are more define and easier to manage. I would like a more softer scent, this one reminds me of hospital cleaning product. I also have a hard time with the container, it’s very hard and it makes it difficult to pour the product.

We hear you on the scent and packaging. Our fragrance comes from a 100% natural essential oil blend (never synthetic perfumes), which gives it a clean, citrusy aroma.
As for the bottle design, we created it so it can sit upright both ways to make the product easier to dispense. You’ll notice our logo is right-side-up in English when standing normally, and in Spanish when flipped upside down — so you can store and pour whichever way feels best.
This is a great way to try them without waste. With that said, these are the best products I have used in a while. Finally! A product that understands our hair. My son and I both loved the products, just ordered a bundle.

I was pleasantly surprised by your product. I purchased the cream and the gel and the refresher spray. I absolutely love the cream and gel. I am born of dominican parents and I have soft curly hair. It's frizzy and sometimes unruly. Your products keep my hair shiny and soft yet controls the curl. To be honest I didnt like the refresher as it made my hair feel like I product and a bit sticky but the other products are excellent! OH! and the shampoo and conditioner samples were awesome too! My hair was so suave and brilloso after the wash and conditioning. I LOVE IT!
Still learning how to use the products. My hair is beginning to thin there fore not as thick and curly as I had hoped. I've only used the product twice since I received them. Need more time to get the hang of them for a proper review.

I love how my hair still stays soft and not glued to my head while maintaining its curls
I like the gel. It’s okay. The curl cream I like better. The price is a little expensive for me. For the ounces. Maybe 12oz or 16oz. Would be better.
This made my hair greasy and limp. I was not able to achieve any wave pattern with this product.
