I saw these products on Instagram, and I wanted to support this Dominican Team that is starting off with their business. My parents are Dominican from Santiago in DR, and I also considered myself 'Pelo Malo". As I was growing up now that I remember, I heard my mother criticized my hair as I was growing up. My cousins would make fun of how bad it was. When reading the stories online it hit home for me. Reading the reviews on your site and listening to your stories on the weblink brought me way back to my days growing up. I ordered the products just to try them and see for myself on how it leaves my curls. I love the clarifying shampoo that gets rid of all the toxins in my hair and oils. Followed by the detangling conditioner that also acts like a deep conditioner, you leave for 15 to 30 minutes depending on the time you must dedicate to your hair. Then followed by rinsing with cool water, and massaging the hydrating curl cream, followed by the Curl Gel. So, I did follow all the directions and the steps that OCOA did mention, which are important. Following the steps you will see the results. I like to leave my curls to air dry first, followed by my diffuser or you can also use a hair dryer. My curls looked so hydrated, shiny, healthy, with a glow that will make anyone stop in their tracks. I have heard strangers tell me; I love your curls!! Since I have been using these products so far for a month, I have been stopped by friends, family, children, strangers complementing me on my curls and how great they look. I highly recommend this product. I am very happy with the results and my curls. It has lasted me a full 5 days...At night I use a satin bonnet to keep my curls healthy while I sleep. I also have a satin pillowcase. I have been trying a lot of products just to see results. You can also purchase the refresher curl spray to live-in the curls just a little bit. Just in case you wake up looking crazy after day 4 or 5. I am so happy!!! I look and feel great! ~ Even my hubby compliments me in the morning, and it makes me feel good that hubby is noticing the difference. He also loves curls.... Thank you OCOA TEAM!!!!

I really enjoy using Ocoa products and I'm sure it's on high demand right now. It's been great for my hair and has been the only affordable product that has not dried out my scalp or curls. My hair feels healthier, softer and looks shinier. My curls are more defined without any prompts. Even my curly hair expert stylist mentioned how thick my hair is now since I began going to her. My hair was brittle, thin and dry after giving birth and had to cut it short three years ago due to so much shedding and hair loss. So thank you Ocoa for creating a lightweight product that not only nourishes my hair but restored it back to health after just a few months of using it. Love it so much!
I have been using OCOA now for about 3 months now and these are the best products hands down that I have used for my hair. I'm 46 and I've tried a plethora of brands, and I continue to be amazed at the quality of the OCOA products. This conditioner is thick and rich and makes my hair soft and easy to comb. I don't have to use as much as other conditioners that I have used in the past so that is also a plus.
It’s great to find a clean product that works with my curls. I did not use the gel just the leave in curl cream and I’m loving the way my curls feel, light and airy. Great product ladies thank you. I will use gel to maintain during the week.
I have been using Ocoa 4 step kit for the last month and I can not say just how much I am loving my curls!! They get better each time! I have only used 3 times and look forward to each wash day to see my locks curl and shine!
My hair in Day 2 - feels moisturized and soft, not crunchy. Coils are defined. Letting it do it's thing. I did not try to stretch it. I woke it up at the roots. I have fine low density high porosity hair. I should say very fine. Probably should have smiled. Next time. At work.
I have 3B-3C curls, my hair is long and has low porosity, and I only wash it every 3-4 days. I bought the 4-step kit and decided to wait until I finished the set to give it a good try until I made a review. For the past 20+ years I have tried most products for curly hair, and my hair does well with all of them, but I have always had to use 4-5 different products to achieve the style I want. Previously, I started with a leave-in conditioner, then a smoothing serum, them a curling cream/styling cream, then a gel or mousse. Sometimes I would use a shining spray for the frizzies as well. When I saw OCOA and the 4-step kit, I was very skeptical that I would only need the styling cream and gel to style my hair. In addition, I figured that the shampoo and conditioner wouldn't last long either. I was wrong! I received my second 4-step order 2 days ago, and I just ran out of the conditioner and styling cream today. I still have some shampoo, at least 4-5 more washes so I was really surprised. The products are very high quality as well, I don't need much shampoo, and my hair feels cleaner than other shampoos that I have used in the past. The conditioner works well and leaves my hair soft and easy to brush and style. I love how I don't need to use a lot of different products and I love how I don't need to use a lot of the OCOA products, so they last longer. It did take some getting used to at first because I used too much styling cream and gel the first time, the second time I didn't use enough of both. After about the 5th time I styled my hair, I knew how much to use and which sections of my hair I need more and sections where I need less. My curls look great, and they look even better 3 or 4 days after I wash it. It took time to get it right, but I could tell from the first wash and style that OCOA products were different, and I was willing to keep trying until I got the results I wanted. Sorry for the long review, I just felt that I needed to explain everything well because curly hair can be hard to manage and style and I am so happy that OCOA got it right! Don't hesitate to try it if you are skeptical, you'll love it! I wish OCOA had trial sizes or travel sizes so that I can try the refresh & hold spray, I haven't tried it yet because I am not sure if it will make my hair too stiff or hard, but I would like to try it. So glad I finally tried Ocoa! I got the curl cream and gel bundle, and I’m obsessed. At first I was worried the gel would be too crunchy with a hard hold, but it’s the complete opposite, it gives a soft, strong hold with beautiful shine. I’ve gone a full week between washes and there’s no buildup on my like other curly hair products may leave. 10/10 recommend. I can’t wait to try the shampoo and conditioner once I finish what I’m using now!

Honestly I’ve been trying to find a new curly hair brand as a Dominican and this one really worked in my curls! I need every Dominican and non Dominican to be on these products cause my hair loved it so much! The whole trio did wonder on my curls just look at my results!
