Returns & Refunds
You may return unused items in original condition and packaging within 30 days. Some exclusions apply (e.g., sale items, gift cards, opened products). Refunds are processed within 7–14 business days once approved. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. For damaged or defective items, exchanges are available. We leave out coconut oil because it can cause buildup, weigh curls down, and trigger allergies. Instead, we use lighter, nourishing oils like sunflower, avocado, and marula—for bouncier, healthier curls.

Our founders grew up with mangos in the Dominican Republic, and now we use mango butter for its lightweight, vitamin-rich benefits. It softens dry hair, reduces breakage, and smooths split ends—without the heaviness of shea butter.

I saw this company presented on The TODAY Show on TV and was impressed with their company mission and values, so I thought I would give it a try. I have tried so many different hyped up products promising miracle results and have been sorely disappointed, but OCOA has proven even better than expected. OCOA is lightweight, doesn’t have a chemical smell, and makes my curls defined and not frizzy even when I sleep on it and don’t wash my hair a second day. I originally thought to try Ocoa because it’s Latina owned and I hoped that it would be able to help with my own Latina blend of hair. I have a mix of curl patterns from looser curls on top to tighter corkscrew type spirals underneath and the entire Ocoa hairline makes all of my curls shine in their own light. At the very least I love using the shampoo, conditioner, and curl cream if I’m in a rush and it’ll look great but doing it all together with the curl gel too helps the curls stay solid for a good three days after. Love this entire line!

I was pleasantly surprised by your product. I purchased the cream and the gel and the refresher spray. I absolutely love the cream and gel. I am born of dominican parents and I have soft curly hair. It's frizzy and sometimes unruly. Your products keep my hair shiny and soft yet controls the curl. To be honest I didnt like the refresher as it made my hair feel like I product and a bit sticky but the other products are excellent! OH! and the shampoo and conditioner samples were awesome too! My hair was so suave and brilloso after the wash and conditioning. I LOVE IT!

The gel is light but gives a nice hold to my hair. It smells great and doesn't get hard or crunchy like many gels. It really makes my curls pop. Also love the clean ingredients.

This is the best hair gel I've ever tried! No other hair gel has made my curls look so defined. I've never had a bad hair day since using these products! The curl cream and gel are the perfect pairing!

This gel gets my wash days right every single time! It has a strong hold that keeps my curls defined for days without needing touch ups. After I "scrunch out the crunch" my hair is soft, bouncy, voluminous, and frizz free. It does not leave any greasy residue or white flakes like I've experienced with other curl gels, even though I can sometimes be a bit heavy handed with my products.

Love the fact that none of your products contain the infamous coconut oil (my hair hates it), and I hate the fact that most companies keep thinking that it is the main attraction to their product.... Anyways! Back to your gel. I love how well it goes with your curl cream. The amount of hold is perfect for my hair; it doesn't leave a sticky feeling, and it works well in this Florida weather.
