1. Accepting your curl pattern, hair porosity, and that it’s okay to take your time with learning to style your hair how you like. 
2. Shampoo/clarify frequently to reset the scalp and Ph balance on the scalp. 
3. Book the appointment 

3 outs: 

1. Limiting how you style your hair. There are tons of hair accessories we can wear and cool styles like half up half downs that look so good! Invest in some cool headbands. 
2. Oiling your scalp instead of changing your products. Oils don’t hydrate your scalp, nor does it make your hair grow faster. 
3. Not sleeping with a bonnet, silk scarf or a silk pillowcase.
